Hi everybody. It's been three weeks since my last post, but I haven't been standing around.
Oh no! I've started my 10K training ready for 20th March, and it's going OK, except for the Sunday LSR which due to various reasons has taken a back seat the last two weeks (not good when you read Footnote on the subject).
It seems to be "a little bit of history repeating itself" as, looking back at last year, I missed out on three weeks of LSR then, and I'm still chasing sub 10 min miles at this time just like last year. Still satisfied with performance though. (If you've not got confidence in yourself nobody else will have either - point to note when you have a bad run.)
Entry level for Vet 60+ is already at 12 with just over 200 places overall left this year, so there's a bigger challenge to better last years age group position, along with a PB (Aim at nothing, and you'll probably hit it easily!!), so the incentives are there for the grasping.
Time to go now folks, but I'll keep you posted on progress.
May the wind be always at your back.
