8.4 miles :-)

Posted on: 17 Nov 2008

I just ran 8.4 hilly miles (some of which I hadn't planned. It's very irritating not having a printer here to print out maps!). I took just under 13 minutes a mile, which equates to a little over 5.5 hours for the marathon. So that's now my target. 5 1/2 hours.

It's quite scary to think of doing even longer training runs. Not because of the distance. Just because that would mean it's later in the day, when it'll be even warmer. It's 10:30 now, and just about to hot to run. There's no way I'll be able to run at this time of day in January!
