After a week off, I managed 5+ miles with Club last night. Good pace, reasonable time. Managed to keep the A's in sight most of the way. Not bad after a week off.
However - I was running solo for 2/3rds of the way, as I found myself equidistant between the A's & B's, so all my aches, pains & tiredness felt SOOOOOO much worse. Thankfully, I didn't stop, even though I wanted to on many occasions. Also, I didn't get those breaks at gates & stiles that you get when you are with a group, which always help to get your breath back.
Midlands Masters tonight with Drew (can't wait), then Harborough 5 on Tuesday. Will probably try & fit in a run around the park between now & then; it'd be interesting to see how far I've come (if at all).
Finally, I'm below 13st & haven't had a drink all week - WOO HOO!!!!!!!
