I have had a bit of a nice surprise with my triathlon 16 week training plan. I had not looked ahead in the plan too far as did not want to scare myself, so have been working on one week at a time. I thought it had an 8 week base phase then 16 week building phase, but at the weekend I discovered it was 16 weeks in total , so I am actually about 5 weeks ahead of myself. Great news and now I will have a better base to start from. So I have been swimming, cycling, running and even managed a swim in the lake on Saturday.
As always I enjoyed watching London on Sunday and a big well done to everyone who took part, such a great event.
