Cycle, Swim, Run and a bit of Climbing

Posted on: 10 Jun 2019

Well I have been busy, trying to train in running, cycling and swimming has proved very time consuming, but good fun.

Fitting everything in is tricky, but swimming I am now feeling pretty confident with having completed a 1.94k lake swim event. It went really well and was very enjoyable. It is actually nice to be able to swim uninterrupted by the end of a pool and it was actually quite meditative.

I have also now fallen in  love with my new triathlon bike shoes. Although it did take a while to get used to them

Saturday I did  a 45 minute cycle and a  8 mile run over the South Downs with the dog. This Sunday  I did my normal swim session and then a 22mile cycle. So a pretty productive weekend all in all.

Last weekend I took my son on his first proper climbing weekend, we went to the Peak District, the weather was kind and we both had a great time, camping, climbing and a bit of running.

Today is a rest day and then another cycle tomorrow and Wednesday is a cross country race for the running club.
