How long will it take to see the benefits of running training?
As a rule it takes at least 10-14 days for your body to adapt to a training stimulus so don’t expect to see improvements overnight! The trick is not to force fitness, let it come to you. Gains in fitness take time so be patient and enjoy the journey.

I’m following a marathon training plan but occasional snowy and icy conditions are interfering with my training. I’m not keen on treadmill sessions so have you got any tips for how I can continue to train safely outdoors.
