How often should I swim per week when training for a triathlon?
To become a good swimmer, frequency is key. Even if it’s just a few kilometres to tick over every other day.
After a while out of the water it’s common for people to complain that they’ve lost their feel for the water, especially for triathletes because running and biking unfortunately all work against each other so if you can keep in the water often then you can keep on top of your strength and technique which will help you when trying to swim faster.
