Every year over 50,000 men in the UK are diagnosed with prostate, testicular or penile cancer. Orchid exists to save the lives of men from male cancers through educational campaigns, raising awareness, providing dedicated Support Services and funding a world class research programme.

As a small charity, we need your support to help us raise vital funds to ensure that we can continue to reach men with important male cancer messages and provide support to those who need us.

Want to get a stronger core from the comfort of your own home? Take on the ORCHID Plank Challenge to develop your plank skills and earn a digital medal in the process. You’ll qualify for the digital medal once you can plank for five minutes in a day, with a 30-day plan that will help you gradually build up your time.

Here’s how to take part:

1) Register your details using the “Join Virtual Event” button above.

2) Set up your online fundraising page here 

3) You’ll use your 30-day plank training plan to record your progress along the way. 

4) Once you’ve finished the challenge, send us your completed training log as proof that you’ve mastered the plank, and we’ll approve your evidence and you will receive a digital medal and certificate as a result!

Your 30-day plank training plan will build you up from complete plank novice to being able to plank for five minutes in a day. It includes all the tips you’ll need about perfect plank form, plus tell you when to take all-important rest days.

You’ll use your 30-day plank training plan to record your progress along the way. Once you’ve finished the challenge, send us your completed training log as proof that you’ve mastered the plank, and we'll approve your evidence and you will receive a digital medal as a mark of your achievement.

There is no set fundraising target but if you raise over £100 in sponsorship we will send you a medal in the post.
