Every year over 50,000 men in the UK are diagnosed with prostate, testicular or penile cancer. Orchid exists to save the lives of men from male cancers through educational campaigns, raising awareness, providing dedicated Support Services and funding a world class research programme.

As a small charity, we need your support to help us raise vital funds to ensure that we can continue to reach men with important male cancer messages and provide support to those who need us.

Squats are the perfect exercise for building lower body strength and as well as definition in your legs and glutes. The strength you gain from doing squats will transfer into a range of other exercises, giving you the explosive power you need to run or cycle faster. Gradually build up the number of squats you can do, and by the time you’ve reached the goal of 140 squats in a day, you’ll qualify for the digital medal to show you’ve completed our Virtual Squat Challenge. All from the comfort of your own home!

Here’s how to take part:

1) Register your details using the “Join Virtual Event” button above.

2) Set up your online fundraising page here

3) You’ll use your 30-day squat training plan to record your progress along the way.

4) Once you’ve finished the challenge, send us your completed training log as proof that you’ve mastered the squat, and we’ll approve your evidence and you will receive a digital medal and certificate as a result!

Download your free 30-day squats training plan for a step-by-step guide to reaching the goal. You’ll start by getting the perfect form for a squat, then get a breakdown of exactly what you should be doing on each day of your challenge to safely increase the number of reps you can do.
