assessmentHad my assessment today - yikes will meet with Personal trainer on wed next week - he tells me treadmill alone is not best for taking off all my weight - wants me to try some weights too. we will see what he comes up with Did 30 min and on his suggestion and my dear Sisters I tried the Elliptical---------five min yes just 5 and i think the machine paused three times i kept thinking i was going to fall off!! will do it again for sure but the burning in my thighs is still there even...
Ozi InnIt's like a big, grubby student's house which could do with someone gutting it and the starting again. The owner obvioulsy thinks that backpackers don't have standards and are having to hand over their cash for a bed, regardless of cleanliness and quality.
Lower body weights trainingI did the lower body weights training today. Well, everything except calves, as I couldn't find the right machine to do them!I kept running to find a gym instructor as it was to show me how to use the other weights machines , and he was busy when I wanted to do the calves bit.Anyway, it was fine, and I will check out the missing bit when I go for this session next time.I'm having a 'free' day (day off!) tomorrow, as I am going to a family friend's 60th birthday party. Yogi's Guest HouseThe room was a great price, especially as we had the extra space on the rooftop terrace to sit and relax, and the food and price were also really good value.
Shahi Palace It was a gorgeous place to stay and felt luxurious thanks to the furnishings and decor. The restaurant was great value as was the camel tour which we can't recommend enough!
Old BonesI would recommend it to everyone. You don't need much time in Oamaru but you'll want to stay at Old Bones for as long as possible.
