Description

Help people to face cancer with confidence by joining #TeamLGFB in our North to South virtual challenge. If you are able, please use your daily exercise to help us continue our vital work, improving the physical and mental wellbeing for thousands of people living with cancer.

To recognise Look Good Feel Better’s services which support people living with cancer across the UK, we’re asking supporters to help us reach a united target of 1,000 miles, the distance from our furthest northern service in the Shetland islands to our most southerly service in Jersey.  Although our confidence boosting Workshops are on hold because of the current worldwide crisis, we know that our support is even more vital so we’ve launched virtual workshops to enable us to reach out to people living with cancer in their own homes.

Whether you walk, jog, run, climb your stairs or do laps of your garden, cover a target distance of your choosing and help us reach 1,000 miles. You can clock up the miles over multiple days before submitting your evidence all at once, at the end.

Taking part is easy:

1.     Simply click ‘Join virtual event’ and register

2.     Pay your registration fee (£10 will come directly to the charity)

3.     Start running, jogging, walking and clocking up your miles

4.     Track your progress using an app of your choosing

5.     Submit your evidence (specifying the number of miles you covered) and then wait for your digital medal to arrive!

If you feel able to raise funds above your registration fee, then please do consider setting up a Justgiving page and ask friends and family to donate towards your challenge. Every penny will go towards ensuring Look Good Feel Better can continue to be there for those living with cancer now and in the future.
