Egdon Runs London For CLIC Sargent
Apologies for not being nearly active enough for a year or two. Next year I shall be running London for the second time, again on behalf of children's cancer support charity CLIC Sargent. But this time it is a bit different as three of my friends from Egdon Heath Harriers, Weymouth, Dorset, have decided to come along on the journey. With these three ladies on board, things could get interesting, and I just wanted to relay the story.

Just a quick update as this week sees a break in marathon training for me with a ski trip to Alpe D'Huez, France and already two fine skiing days into the holiday. The weather is sunny, and the snow coverage is starting to look a little sparse. One (ben...

July 27, 1996 and a new phrase enters our consciousness – the "Steve Redgrave Moment" when, in the immediate aftermath of winning his fourth olympic gold medal, he declares “Anybody who sees me in a boat has my permission to shoot me”. Roll forward four...
