Starting my 10k training

I have been meaning to start training for a 10k for a while now. The final straw came this weekend when I hit the scales.

The main aim of my training is to improve my fitness and overall health.

I'm nearly at the 2 week mark of my training. No injury in sight (Touch wood it stays that way!) I'm so glad that I have decided to build up my fitness in a more sensible way. Typically I am one of those people who just wants to be good straight away. ...

Session 1

I did some light running in the park following the training plan realbuzz provide. I'd say it was a strong start. I have done 5K's before but in the wrong way. This meant I developed shin splints... ouch!  This time I am doing it by the book. Stay tune...
