Training for Brighton Marathon April 2013.......

Its all Lou's fault, she is the one who posted on Facebook that she had got a place for Brighton Marathon next April and after the dissapointed of not getting into the ballot of London for the last 3 years I gentle nudge from her and my Debit Card details were duly filled in.

I also booked a weeks holiday and rented an apartment so that I know I have to commit to the programme. Running has always been an issue as I am not a natural runner, so I hired a Personal Trainer called Sam who ran 50 miles a day for 50 days to complete around Britain run so I guess he knows better than me how to run long distance. I have also joined a running club the Bentham Beagles.

From here is a long road.......and I also put in for the ballot for Virgin London as well, just in case.
