I'm writing this as I walk home having only managed 4 miles of my LSR. I have never stopped during a run before.... ever.
I tried the foam roller and got an IT Band support to wear. I liberally applied some deep freeze and set off. The pain kicked in within 26 metres so how on earth I will be able to run 26 miles in 7 weeks I really don't know.
Pain is in the left side of my knee and spreads to under the kneecap.
