Well, we've all rightly heard of D-Day.
This year, we buzzers will also be honouring Red Day. Remember, we're all running in red on Saturday 29 August to raise money for the Cardiomyopathy Association. This is to help Gaelle in her monumental year offundraising as she commemorates the 10th anniversary of the death of her husband, Duncan.
I know from three weeks or so ago when I last posted that the numbers were swelling. And so they should.
I know that some of us will be undertaking huge challenges. Hollywood and Gaelle herself will be running the 100K from London to Cambridge. What an awesome way to celebrate this year's Great Oggie Run.
I'm pretty sure that the rest of us will be running slightly less distance than that (although you never know with some of the inspirational mad people on this site!).
The key thing to remember though, of course, is that it doesn't matter how far. It certainly doesn't matter how fast (when did it ever?!). What does matter is that we get out there and we do it on Saturday 29 August. When we can, where we can, how far and as fast as we can.
To borrow a well known catchphrase - "Just do it!!"
Oh, and remember to do it in red. And with a camera - the more photos the better; let's paint the country red!!
