Following on from Thursday's double day I had a recovery day on Friday, my rest day on Saturday and did 9 miles on Sunday. 10k of it was with Mel, Karen and Lindsey helping them increase their mileage as they train for a 10k race.
Today was another double day with a 4 mile run at lunch with Matt, Debi, Jo and Mikala tat started out steady but the paced picked up a little and over the last mile I stayed with Matt for part of it and then eased back and let him go. I finished the run in 34:57.
Tonight at the club I was joined by 22 runners for a combination hill/tempo session. This was a session I'd invented that involved a quarter mile climb and a 0.2 mile flat section for tempo work. We worked hard up the hill and jogged down to recover then ran the flat section fast and jogged back to recover. We did four sets of this session before running back to the club.
I finished with 5.53 miles for the session.
Now it's an easy recovery day for me tomorrow as I hope to do anther 40 mile week.
And the computer problems... My laptop has a serious issue and I don't know how to fixit so I'm currently using it in safe mode and don't have access to all my files...
