Rather annoyingly I don't like bananas, I wish I did!
So I am never sure what to eat before I head out for my long runs as I tend to go early-ish. If I run within about 2-3 hours of eating a proper meal I get a stitch that won't shift, so I can't really have a breakfast before I go.
So far I have just had a few raisins and some sports drink, but wondered if anyone had any other/better ideas ....
