Downloaded a training log from the SmartCoach facility on Runners World. ......to rev up the movitivation enjoyed reading it! and planning the way ahead.
Friday 29 Feb. The weather was so windy pm that I did my 5 mile run on the treadmill at the gym - useful though to tackle some intervals. Never tried running on the treadmill as part of training for NYC last year, but then I trained through the summer and didn't need to be indoors really.
Anyway - felt much better after and will do more sessions like this - inside and out.
Saturday 1st March - longish run (almost 10 miles) most of it along the South Shields coast. Wind still quite strong and had to take the odd walk break but getting back 'in the zone'.
Must do some hill work - I'm sure there are some around Brathay!!
Training at the Track (Monkton Stadium) on Tuesday with personal trainer - will catch up on blog then.
