I went for a long run (aiming for 18 miles, but it turned out 17.6. Close enough). I have felt worried about my slow pace (14 min/mile), but today was much slower, and it hurt like hell. Overall it was 15.5 minutes a mile, but the last part (Seven Hills Road, very hilly!) was well over 17 min/mile
And now my legs hurt like hell.
I am so worried I'll be the last one at the marathon (even though I've been running for years, and there will be loads of people who have only just started). And that I'll be limping round the second half in agony.
