On the good side: the new running trainers have a lot more padding than my old flat things, bless them, they've been abused by the elephant running in them (me) well, that's what I think I sound like sometimes when I'm running along!
On the bad side: the new running trainers have hurt my left foot because (I think) they were laced too tight so it'll take days of adjusting and adjusting until they're as comfortable as my old trainers.
