Left calf / achilles knotted and tight at less than a mile.
First signs of knee pain about 4 miles in.
Didn’t want to run another step after 2 and 1/2 miles done.
I should remember...
Ive run about 20 miles total in 2 months.
I lost weeks of training through travel to and workload in California.
I wouldn’t change my experience in California for anything.
Mince pie season is upon us and never helps.
I’ve more fat on me right now than I’ve had in 10 years.
I’ve run at other people’s paces for 2 years not my own.
I’m lucky after Whernside that I’m able to run at all.
I’ve been fit and lean before - and I can get back there again.
It’s just going to be a long road getting there. But I knew that when I re-titled this blog 😀.
