Hi everybody, I'm ashamed to see I haven't been on since mid December, shortly after I completed the Richmond Park HM in November.
I must admit that I have been a bit lazy over the Christmas season, although I did manage the Tadworth 10 (mile) run in early January, which is a lovely 2 lap run around the Epsom Downs area, starting on the Epsom race course, then up hill & down dale (as it were) on a number of occasions, it was a tough introducer to my 2019 run season!
So, my focus is now the Vitality Big Half (London) on the 10th March, I'm probably being a little ambitious in hoping for a time as close to 2 hours (if not sub!) as possible. I know during the Paddock HM last April I managed 2 hours, 4 mins, so the body should be able to do it! Managed my first 5 miles training run (yes, I know I'm leaving it late!) in 47 mins, 5 secs, so with a fair wind & a bit more effort....who knows?
