So it’s been just over a year since I last blogged. Oops. So after my last run (where I fell over again), about a week later I fell over again. And that was that. No running. I have no idea why not, no major injury (other than maybe my pride). I had pulled a muscle, but that was no real reason why not to get going again in a week to two. Life maybe just took over, hot weather, school holidays and probably a pinch of laziness if I’m honest.
So in the new year I kept thinking.... must get running again....must run again. But couldn’t get motivated. Then at Easter my local running club were offering c2 5k, starting just after Easter. So I signed up. I’m now on week 6 and its going ok. Apparently we have to do the local parkrun for our ‘graduation’ but not sure when that’ll be yet. But have signed up for a local 5k on 22 June so gotta keep going!
So I am now a member of a running club, but haven’t got the t-shirt just yet......!
Have been reading up on all your blogs for inspiration and think I’m getting the bug again just hope I dont fall over again!
