I'm nearly at the 2 week mark of my training. No injury in sight (Touch wood it stays that way!)
I'm so glad that I have decided to build up my fitness in a more sensible way. Typically I am one of those people who just wants to be good straight away. This is going to be far better in the long run.
So far the most I have done is 10 minutes of solid jogging with walking in between. Tonight it is being upped to 12 minutes. I'm going to be the colour of beetroot by the end, but it will be worth it!
I am considering entering an event, but I do worry that the added pressure will put me off training.
I'll let you know what I decide!
