The Road to VLM 2012

I am a marathon runner! I ran my first marathon - the Virgin London Marathon on 25th April 2010 in 04:54:00, so what next?

VLM 2012, obviously.

Having been lucky enough to get a ballot place in 2011 and deferred it, my 2012 place is now confirmed.  Bring it on!  VLM 2012, here I come.

Considering I’ve not run a race for months, aside from one anxiety dream a few days ago in which I completely missed the start, I was pretty relaxed.  I spent all of yesterday evening looking for my misplaced gift vouchers, which I hasten to add, I stil...

...it improved the enjoyment 10 fold! Firstly thank you for all your suggestions and empathy in my last post.  Nice to know it’s quite normal to feel a bit lost and demotivated. After a whole heap of procrastination, I went out for my second run this e...

Where is the love?

So I went for my first run yesterday, it was short – a couple of miles, if that, 20 mins, just to see get used to the feeling of running again.  My knees have been feeling decidedly old of late; I really must resume my pill taking which stopped when I w...

Harder than the London Marathon

This is going to be a long one so either just look at the pics and pretend you've read it, or make yourself comfortable! You might think I am referring to my first run since the BIG day, but not so, I am actually referring to the mighty Mt Kinabalu clim...
