Early morning feed before training, I’m up at 5 for a 6am pool session or spin sessions - what’s best to eat?

A light carbohydrate based snack would be best. Exactly what depends on your preferences and how quickly you are able to digest food but some good options would be crumpets, toast with jam or honey, a small bowl of cereal or a banana.
