Can I still run if I have a cold?
As a general rule, exercising if you are below par is inadvisable because you could prolong your illness. If you just feel a little bit blocked up with an occasional runny nose then a light session is usually OK.
However if your cold is more severe, making you feel generally unwell and/or with aches and pains then exercising should be avoided. If in doubt, check with your doctor and give your session a miss until you are fully recovered.
