I've started running again after a long time off. I'm taking it easy and building up using a run/walk routine. I went for a run last week, the run felt good but woke up the next morning with the a very sore knee and a very tender inside tendon on my right knee. Any ideas as to what I've done?

Sorry to hear that you've had a a bit of problem after returning to running. Rather than us trying to second guess what the issue might be with your knee, we would recommend you visit a physiotherapist for a proper analysis of your issue. They'll be able to diagnose your issue and suggest action to remedy the injury.
