What's the best time to take the energy gels during a race? I'm never sure.
Energy gels are always a tricky and depend on how well your stomach gets on with them during a run. They normally take 20-30 minutes to digest into your system.
Assuming you are taking this during a race then I suggest you want to be taking a whole energy gel but in stages throughout the course of the race. Important to note though – make sure you practice during your training – find out what suits you and your body well before race day.
