Week 1: The beginning.......

The first week of 2017 - and I have completed 40km of runs for my training. Thanks to the generous folk who have kick-started my fundraising too - with just over £200 raised so far (more with GiftAid!).

Highlight of the week was my 11-miler on Wednesday - it felt good. I've also experimented with 2 flavours of Fartlek! (Gerschler and Saltin). I ran 4.5 miles using Saltin Fartlek today as follows:

10 min jogging warmup

3 mins hard - 1 minute recovery jog (repeat this 6 times)

10 min jogging warm down

Oh yeah - and my t-shirt arrived!
