With a bit of domestic encouragement I set off on my first 10 mile run. It was raining throughout but, apart from having to retie a shoelace at around seven miles, I got home in one go.
I think that means I should, with a bit more effort, make it at least as far as Tower Bridge.
Knees groaning a bit, but it's the chafing that's hard to take. I'm told that 'chubby rub' is not only something that happens in the showers at a rugby club but also some form of unction that can be applied to the nether regions as a preventative measure. Has to be tried.
