My laptop is still giving me trouble and I can only use it in safe mode!!
Having a good week of training following last week's 44 miles - did a double day Monday, an easy recovery day yesterday and another double day today.
At lunch today I ran with Mikala, Jo, Debi and Wendy and we set off on our 4.2 miles route but Wendy was finding it tough so I directed her on to a shorter, 3.75 miles, route. The rest of us did another loop and began to work hard trying to catch up with Wendy. We didn't catch her but ran a good route finishing the 4.2 miles in 38:42.
Tonight at the club I was joined by Sara, Kirsty, Darren, Mark, Angie and Tony for a pyramid session. Star of Women's Runnings Operation Ultra training, Anne-Marie also joined us but was doing her session as provided by the coaches at Women's Running.
For us the session was 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 1000m, 800m, 600m, 400m, 200m. My splits were - 200m 41:06s (5:33), 400m 1:37.6 (6:33), 600m 2:34.3 (6:54), 800m 3:20.8 (6:42), 1000m 4:13.3 (6:43), 800m 3:15.2 (6:29), 600m 2:29.1 (6:41), 400m 1:34.4 (6:12), 200m 41.09s (5:33)
A good session from everyone but a little bit wet - steady drizzle all night long!
Back to a double day tomorrow with an easy recovery run at lunch then a session at the club in the evening!
