I have entered my first 10K race of the season Its at Kirkbymoorside a week on sunday. I did this a couple of years ago and it is really really hard becaue you start on a hill and the first mile is all uphill and flipping steep too. I am not as fit as I was 2 years ago and so I am desperately trying to get in a bit of hill training. Done 10 miles so far this week (a 6 and a 4 miler) and I am aiming to do another 3 or 4 miles before the weekend. Sunday will have to be a long hill and I just hope this rain stops otherwise it will be pretty miserable.
