I did my 4.27 mile (hilly) run up into Esher. I did it in 11.4 min/mile. I have gone a minute and a half faster (last month), but hey, I did plenty of runs up there a good 15 minutes slower (but that was nearly 3 years ago, only a couple of months after I got back into running post-accident, so those times were pretty damned slow!).
I had a runner overtake me just before I got home, and I really wanted to shout out "I may be slower than you, but I'm 'blind' and disabled, and I've just run 4 miles! Still feel better than me?". But I was good, and didn't!
