So, 10K on Sunday morning. Ouch. Didn't realise just how unfit I was until I got to about 5k and then struggled big time the rest of the way round. Physically I haven't run enough recently to be able to do a reasonable time and mentally, my mind was all over the place! Usually when it gets hard I can switch off and start to disassociate or start counting numbers to get through the hard patches but none of them would work. An hour and 5 minutes later I struggled over the line - I think I even got beaten by a clown!!
