....& the official time was 52.28, placed 536 overall (84th in my age group) which made me exactly two thirds of the way down the field.
The others all finished just under 50 mins, which could be accounted for by my shoelace disaster, but that's just a lesson I need to learn from.
However, as my calf seems to have fully recovered, I'm planning to run Pitsford this evening; seven days ahead of schedule.
