After sulking on Tuesday, I have lagged behind with my mileage all week, but now its sorted. 70K total at the end of Thursday became 100K on Friday, mainly due to the 26k i fitted in at lunch time.
I had a night out with Karen last night with friends and ate too much and drank far to much, not great prep for a "long run"? Bit of a hangover the this morning but off I went about 9.40 in light drizzle. 3 & half hours later (including 2 10-15 min stops) I had completed 61K, my longest bike ride to date. Total for the week, 161 k's and job done a day early!
