I have not written anything for ages, but that is not because I have not been training, in fact quite the opposite. I have been running, swimming and cycling a lot.
I completed a sprint distance tri a couple of weeks ago and it went really well, the swim was a little busy, the cycle quick for me and the run only just of a PB for 5K , so really good.
I am back there in 4 weeks to do a longer distance, hence all the training. I have followed my training plan pretty well ( 96% of the plan to be exact) but I am yet to have done the complete distance on the bike and defiantly not then followed it with the run distance, so a case of trusting the plan and keeping positive.
Next weekend I am possibly drive up to the Cotswold to do a Sportive, but I have no one coming with I am so feeling a bit unsure of it, so may yet pull out.
Last night was a club cross country, which I just love. It is always a really sociable night and the weather was perfect for it.
Today is a rest day. woohoo
