I went out for my first run in years, tonight. :-) :-) :-)
(f you don't know me, I used to be a keen but slow runner, but my hips gave out on me a few years ago. :-( I am doing plenty of exercise-biking, now. I can't ride a real bike, as I am officially registered as blind, following my accident in 2005, when I fell off my bicycle in France, spent weeks in a coma, months in hospital, and eighteen months off work on sick leave. I received a Traumatic Brain Injury, I have poor balance and I have dodgy eyesight, as a result.
Anyway, for my first run in years, I planned to do 10 minutes, doing sets of 60 seconds running gently, then 30 seconds walking.
But I did 13 minutes and 24 seconds, with sets of running until I had counted to sixty very slowly, then walking until I had counted to thirty, at normal speed.
Ooh, I am so reckless!
How will my hips feel tomorrow?
