How do you train for swimming?
Many people still don’t realise that to train for swimming you don’t just simply get in the water and swim up and down continuously till you’re bored. Design yourself a set before you get there so you’re clear on what you’re doing, don’t do it once you’re already in the pool.
Split the session up into a warm up, a prep set with some short faster swimming at target pace for your set. A bulky main set and a cool down to keep you motivated.
