How do I get faster in triathlon transitions?

Transition is a big part of triathlon and it is a part of the race you can easily save vital time. There is not much use in putting all that effort into cutting seconds off your swim bike and run time if you get to transition and faff around!

Make sure that you know very well how to navigate to your bike and have your bike shoes already clipped into your pedals held up by elastic bands and helmet on the bars with straps open.

Then prepare your run shoes by opening them out and having elastic laces so you just have to slip your feet in. Sunglasses and energy gels should also be elastic banded to your bike.
