Chef in training

Nov2620111 p.m.

Thanksgiving dinner is well over and I’m still in my post-turkey coma.  I don’t hold back at the holidays so Thursday was filled with turkey, rolls, stuffing, potatoes and pie.  It feels so good in the moment but the holiday food hangover is a tough one to beat.  Now that I’m in my feast recovery, I’ve decided to get my nutrition back on track and try some new recipes to go with my training.  Admittedly, I’m a horrible cook and an occasional hazard in the kitchen.  But I’m willing to put in the effort and am pretty sure that when it comes to cooking skills, the only way for mine is up.  So now that I have the energy and the motivation, I need the recipes!  It’s easy to Google good fitness meals but I want something more exciting than chicken breast and steamed vegetables.  What are your favorite healthy meals?  I’m open to suggestions and ready to tackle the kitchen challenge!
