Back on the run!

Well after not running since Monday I've had withdrawal symptoms this week!!
Got up this morning to damp and cloudy conditions but luckily no rain when I went out for a run at 9. Set off for a 5 miler and felt great through the first mile down tyo Middleton and no problems from the hamstring so pushed on up the hill towards Blackley at the start of the second mile and then a good half mile down hill to the second mile in around 16 minutes.
Turned left onto Victoria Avenue and the long long straing up to Greengate. Turned there to climb up over the motorway and then the steady down hill to the Lees Brewery.
Turned for the last half mile home and I was feeling good but tired and pushed to the finish for 5 miles in 39:22 - just under 8 minute pace and no problems with the hamstring, but the fitness needs some work!!
