Why run it?
Take on the unparalleled scenery of Northern Ireland's Antrim Coast with a team! Introducing the Antrim Coast Half Marathon Relay.
How do relays work? You can read our handy article here but basically you'll put together a team of three and split the half marathon course and the fundraising target (that's £150 each!) with designated hand offs across the route.
- Leg 1 is 6.7km
- Leg 2 is 6.5km
- Leg 3 is 7.9km
A perfect way to enjoy the sights of this spectacular course but share the distance with your running buddies. The lead runner should register and pay the refundable deposit on behalf of the team then you'll be asked to share the names of your team mates and set up your team fundraising page!
The half marathon route, which takes you on a journey through Antrim's spectacularly scenic coastland, is essentially flat with a downhill at 1,300 metres to go, sweeping off the Coast Road onto Larne Promenade.
