Silly question maybe, when running a marathon in shorts and vest, where do you keep your supply of gels?
Not a silly question at all. This is all about comfort. I would try and find some shorts with a small inside pocket. If you don’t have one then get a safety pin and pin the gel sachet to your shorts.
You may want to reduce friction by lubricating the safety pin so it is comfortable. Make sure you practice during a training run before and not leave it until race day.
