rubbish as it gets...

This week have only managed two runs so far, Tuesday about 5 miles and today 7.2, both runs were nothing spectacular and sadly rather uncomfortable…my week generally has been as rubbish as it gets, have been honest with the doctor but not especially honest with Julie, she has enough to deal without this as well.

We are still not entirely sure whether what’s happening is my illness flaring up again, it is possible and ironically was due to be admitted back to hospital next month for a routine visit. They are trying to get me seen sooner and it’s been suggested I consider an A&E visit to speed things up – not sure about that.

So that’s were I am; have felt so very sick and old all week, especially so for the last 48 hours…but running today was a tonic for sure if only for a short while.

Will rest again tomorrow then head north for the Light Water Challenge…not sure what the Challenge bit is? If I can race I will but at the very least will jog round and enjoy the run…

  • tinabee 'Sorry to hear things not going so well just now. You do push hard so maybe your body is just rebelling a bit. Take it a bit easier and hopefully you will feel better for it. Have you considered the Scottish Kilomathon? I have managed to talk Skye_Trekker into it - come up and make a party out of it!' added 20th Mar 2010
