Still waiting!
Feb05200710:27 a.m.
Still no news! I phoned 'Committee Man' lastnight, but he's still trying to secure an allotment for me!
I need to be sowing some seeds under glass, but I'm reluctant to start that until I know I've got somewhere to put them when they're bigger!!!
In the meantime, I've written out a planting plan i.e. when leeks need to be sown, planted and harvested etc..and a list of recommended varieties. This should make it easier when I'm shopping for seeds i.e. I only need to be buying those that i can sew in the near future, and I can take the list of recommended varieties so i don't buy rubbish! :o)
I'm itching to get out there now!!!!

klebe 'With these frosts I'd not worry too much about rushing out there just yet. It's a good time to thumb through the brochures though and to plan your garden layout with what goes where. Especially as some plants help keep insects and disease away from others. Happy planning!' added 6th Feb 2007

Alexis 'I'd be starting the seedlings off in the conservatory, and moving them to the allotment when it's warmer...and when i have one...and when i've dug it over/prepared it! Ages yet, before they go into the soil!' added 6th Feb 2007
