Oh what a beautiful morning

oh what a beautiful day - no work today - yahoo. So I went for an early run and did a nice 10miler with Harv. Felt surprisingly fit, that's me, H probably felt fit too! No problems, guess that's me sorted then. Another 4 weeks before I start training for Amsterdam.
Now for the gloom, I'm off to the dentist for a filling! I don't do needles very well, everything goes kinda blurry and then the lights go out - I'll try to be brave today!
Wee update, arrived at dentist who then announced that I was to get 2 fillings - I stayed calm, needle went in, did a lot of foot tapping - didn't feel woozy - stayed awake, then she came back with another needle - thought that someone was having a laugh now, but no - again stayed conscous (apologies for spelling) - 2 fillings later and I'm still on my feet. Have to go back next Friday for ONE filling!

AGrieve 'I agree about dentists. Willing to run hills for an hour but when I see a needle the blood drains out of my face apparently (I had a dentist's assistant notice this an comment once). I bit a dentist once as a child so perhaps is is a brotherhood revenge thing on their part. ' added 20th May 2009
