Overview
I was scheduled to run all three of the triple crown, but two days ago, I came down with such a wretched flu-like symptom, I could not make it to today's 10K.
So here I sit, reading and re-reading all the posts on the forum, grinding my teeth and feeling sorry for myself.

Details
Welp, I ran the first leg, the Anthem 5K run the first of the month.
Then, Thursday morning, I got a slight sore throat, which is a signal that I'm about to get sick. By Thursday night, I was full-out sick. It was with extreme regret that I had to cancel my plans for today.
Instead, I stayed home, alternating between sleeping and reading this forum. Finally, because of a total lack of things to do, and tired of feeling sorry for myself, I decided to write this blog.
I will be running on the 29th, though, and as the title says, 2 races out of 3 ain't bad. :)
